A major winter storm will bring a foot or more of snow and 30 to 40 mph wind gusts creating difficult if not impossible travel conditions late Thursday through Friday.

Authorities are looking for a suspect they say robbed a business in southwest Sioux Falls.

The 2017 Sioux Empire Home Show is looking to offer a distraction from the snow this weekend.

To get the roads cleared in time for the morning commute crews across the area will have to work all night. The Sioux Falls Street Fleet is out and about clearing the roads of all this snow, which is very important since hundreds of people are headed to Sioux Falls this weekend for the state wrestling championship.
