Chuck joined the KSFY Action News team in the Fall of 2007.  He began working as a photographer and then was named the Director of Web Development in February of 2008.  Chuck still works on improving the web site and began as a Reporter in November of 2008. 

Chuck is a Minnesota native growing up in Shoreview, a suburb of the Twin Cities.  He is a graduate of Brown College where he received a degree in Radio Broadcasting.

Chuck's first job brought him to Winner, SD where he hosted a Morning Show and worked as the News Director for KWYR Radio prior to be coming the stations Sports Director.  He considers Winner his South Dakota hometown where he met great people and had a blast for the nearly 2 years there.

After his time in Winner, Chuck moved to Madison, SD, where he hosted the Morning Show and served as Operations Manager for KJAM-Radio.  He was also the Play-by-play voice for the Dakota State University Basketball, Football and Baseball teams.

Chuck moved to Sioux Falls in the Summer of 2007 to work for MYSioux Falls.com.  The news website only lasted 3 months but his experience in video editing and the relationships he built there led him to his job at KSFY.

In his spare time, Chuck enjoys Coaching the Sioux Falls PeeWee "A" Hockey team, golfing, and keeping up to date on the Twins, Wild and Vikings.
