Leslie Rupiper joined the KSFY News Team in February 2004.  

Leslie was born near Hartington, Nebraska, and is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Broadcast Journalism. She's also a die-hard Husker fan.

During college, Leslie worked at KOLN/KGIN TV in Lincoln where she also got her first job as the morning news producer.  She was later hired by KLKN TV in Lincoln to produce the 6pm & 10pm newscasts.  From there, Leslie traveled to Salt Lake City, where she worked as a producer at KUTV.  In 1999, Leslie returned to the Midwest and began reporting and anchoring at KMEG TV in Sioux City. She has been a member of the KSFY team since February 2004.

Leslie loves the Midwest and being close to friends and family.  When she's not at work, she enjoys traveling, reading, and going to movies. She says the people are what make this part of the country so special. Meeting them, through stories she covers at KSFY is what Leslie says makes her job so great.
