Mary McKenzie is thrilled to be the newest member of the KSFY Action News team. You can catch her weekdays starting October 26th.

Originally from the Los Angeles area, Mary has already made Sioux Falls her home and is excited to serve her new community as the morning anchor and reporter for KSFY Action News. You can catch her weekdays starting October 26th.

Prior to KSFY, Mary worked in media relations for the Tournament of Roses Parade, and worked as an actress and tv host in Los Angeles. She graduated from the University of Southern California, and is a proud alum and avid football fan. She is excited to begin a challenging and meaningful career in her new hometown and has a deep respect for the responsibility she’s given as a journalist. Mary looks forward to covering the stories that matter to the residents of South Dakota, southwest Minnesota, and northwest Iowa.

When she’s not trying to catch up on sleep, Mary enjoys hiking, photography and painting, as well as some experimental cooking. Since Mary was born and raised in and around Pasadena, California, she’s hoping to receive some great ‘surviving your first winter’ tips from viewers.
