Dawn Crawley comes to KSFY from Augusta, Georgia. She says one of her first purchases after arriving in October was a heavy down jacket as well as a hat, scarf, and gloves. Even though she has moved to a completely different climate she cannot wait to participate in winter sports like snowmobiling.

Dawn attended Augusta State University and majored in Political Science and Communications. In Augusta, she worked at WRDW as a Consumer Affairs Research Producer. As she puts it "I looked into quite a few shady businesses."

Dawn likes investigative reporting but also enjoys political stories. She arrived in South Dakota right around the time of the November 2006 elections and loved the excitement it generated across the state.

Dawn’s first experience with on camera reporting came at an early age-------fifth grade. Her elementary school, Bel Air Elementary, featured a segment called "Bel Air On the Air" where she was an "anchor". Dawn has loved television and journalism ever since. Dawn says that she is used to southern hospitality coming from Georgia but the people in the Midwest could give the south a run for their money.
