A couple of weeks ago, my son Cameron turned 1 year old. Today, my oldest Austin turns 4 and I'd like to tell you about him. He has endless energy and a laugh that will bring a smile to your face. He loves his little brother. He is an outdoor kind of kid; he loves to play in the yard and ride his bike and go for rides around town.

 Austin was a long time in arriving. Mandy and I tried for years to have a baby and it didn't work out. We figured we weren't destined for kids. So we accepted it and decided to take the big adventure and move to Las Vegas, Nevada. Three months after we got to Vegas, we got pregnant! Austin was a dream come true. I wanted to name him "Chance". Mandy shot the idea down, apparently she wasn't real fond of having a baby born in Las Vegas being named Chance. So we decided on Austin.

 I have to tell you this funny story: once while we were still living in Las Vegas, Mandy had to go into the backyard to grab something. She shut the sliding door so Austin wouldn't crawl outside and hurt himself. While Mandy was outside, Austin pressed down on the floor lock of the sliding door, locking her outside the house. I have never let her forget that.

 Austin is a big fan on watching Daddy's blogs on line: at some point he will watch this blog. So Austin, this is for you. Mom, Cameron and I love you very much! You are a wonderful boy and you make a lot of people so very happy! Happy 4th Birthday Austin! You are our little superhero!
