So here's something I don't get. Today is Friday, the end of the week for most of us. However, today is actually my Wednesday as I have to work on Saturdays and Sunday so you'll have a forecast on the weekends. What I don't get is why I find myself getting excited about Friday even though I still have two days to go.

There are lots of interesting things that happen on Friday. Many places have casual days where Jeans are suddenly acceptable at a place of work. I've notided in my past jobs that people sneak off a little bit earlier on Fridays. Lunches seem to be longer as well as talks around the water cooler. We even seem to become a little lazier.

Normally I get up at least four hours before needing to be at work so that I can have a slow breakfast and make it to the gym without any rush. This morning I didn't do that. Actually I found myself waiting until the last possible moment before getting out of bed. I realized that the only day I do this is on Friday. Even though I stil have a few days left in my work week. This just doesn't make sense.

I don't know if its contagous or my mind is still in the old five day schedule. It may be that everyone else is in Friday mode and I can't miss out on the mood. Who knows. The good thing for me is that I get to have two Fridays a week. One on Friday and one on Sunday.
