Hurricane Bertha Update

Tools

By Derick Fabert

The storm has actually been upgraded to a major storm. It's now a category three storm with winds of 120mph. The pressure has also plummeted to 955mb which is part of the intensification of the storm.

The bad news is that this storm is expected to make a right turn toward Bermuda after the next 48 hours. The good news is that It still looks like the storm will miss the island well to the east. This will allow the strongest part of the storm (the northeast quadrant) to miss the island. Also some weakening is expected during the next 48 hours.
