Well, it's Thursday and it's my first day of work this week. That is not a good thing. Monday was a planned day off. After that, it all went downhill.  I caught some sort of bug that hounded me for the next two days. I'll spare you the icky details, but suffice it to say that work would have been a welcome distraction from what my body's been putting me through the past two days.

When I come back to work this late in the week, I really feel out of the loop. While I tried to at least keep up with the news while I was sick, I admit sometimes I slept right through it.  It feels like it should be a Monday, when really everyone is in holiday mood and getting ready for the 4th of July.  I'm even struggling with my blog today.  Everything just seems a little bit....off.

I will be working tomorrow, so maybe after a day on the job, I'll feel back in the swing of things. Just in time for the weekend.
