Give The Gift Of Life

Tools

By Phil Schreck

I wrote a little earliler about the sudden death at the age of 42 of my little brother Kevin.  Of course, it was and still is very painful to know that he's no longer with us.  However, part of Kevin lives on.

Kevin was an organ donor and we already know that his corneas have helped a 77-year old man and a 61-year old woman to greatly improve their vision.

And after further testing, other parts of his body will help potentially hundreds of other people to enhance the quality of their lives.  I found that absolutely amazing when I heard that from his wife Karen.

It's so easy to become an organ donor.  In many states, all you have to do is indicate on your driver's license that you want to be a donor.  To find out what you have to do in your state to give the gift of life, go to this web site to find out more.

Dear Phil, next time you run into Shawn Cable, can you let him know he hasn't updated his blog since man invented the wheel? Thanks, W. Costigan, jr.
