My Top 10 Lunch List

Tools

By Chris Studer

I was thinking about my late grandfather today, and how great it would be to just take him out to lunch. He passed away when I was 8 years-old, but he used to take me out to lunch about once a month when I was young. We used to go to this little cafe and have "Fish & Chips" every time. Just Grandpa and me. So that got me thinking about other people I'd like to sit down to lunch with. So here's my Top Ten. There are probably a lot more. But this is what I came up with...

10. Michael Jordan (Seems like a nice guy, and he'd probably end up paying. One would hope anyway.)

9. Britney Spears (I don't know why, I think it'd just be cool to have my picture in a tabloid sometime)

8. Anderson Cooper (He's lived quite a life, and just read his autobiography, so I'd love to hear some stories face to face)

7. Stephen Colbert (The guy just cracks me up.)

6. Peter Jennings (Sort of an idol of mine. I'm reading his biography right now, and I'm finding out how much cooler he was.)

5. Franklin D. Roosevelt (Just a guy who helped change a lot in this country. Be interesting to pick his brain)

4.Sandra Day O'Connor (Unbelievable what she's been through in her life. Someone with insane historical perspective)

3. Billy Graham (Great spiritual leader that always stood up for what was right. And unlike others, he never waivered in his walk)

(These next two are tied. It's hard to pick between the two)

1. My Grandpa Studer (He passed before I was born. Grandpa Joe was a WWII vet, served in the Navy. He was on a ship that was hit by a Japanese kamakazi in the Pacific and survived. I'd love to just hear his voice sometime. People say I really look like him.)

1. My Grandpa, Hector "Harry" Cameron. (Born in 1892, he was a World War I veteran...yeah really...World War I...and just an all around great guy to be around. I'm hungry for some Fish & Chips.)
