No one but me ever rides in my car, and because of that it's a pit right now. Seriously, I'd be embarrassed if anyone needed a ride from me. Some might say, "Chris, it can't be that bad." Yes...it is that bad. I have pop bottles, gum wrappers, clothes, ties, and a random assortment of other things inside it right now.

Now I've never been characterized as a "Neat-Nick" (is that how you spell that by the way? Who knows...) or anything that resembles it. I often throw clothes on the floor of my bedroom rather than hanging them up or throwing them in the dirty clothes basket. I think it shows that I'm artsy. My wife calls is disgusting.

But I was thinking yesterday that I should probably clean out my car sometime soon, especially with gas prices the way they are. They say that the heavier your car is the worse mileage you get. Makes sense I suppose. But I'm not a big fan of cleaning either, so we'll see. But what's funny is that at some point I get so sick of it that I clean it spotless. I spend hours cleaning and vacuuming and everything, just to get it completely perfect. Even if it only stays that way for a few days (which is about the limit it seems) it makes me feel good.

I suppose it is "Spring" now, and some Spring Cleaning would be in order. Maybe I should pick up my clothes too. But I wouldn't want to get carried away now...
