So maybe I'm not the most tidy person in the world. For months my car was a wreck. I was embarrassed to get in it most days. I wrote about it in a previous post. Click here to read it. But embarrassment wasn't enough to force me to clean it. But now it's spotless...well sort of.

Last weekend the amateur baseball team I play for (The Brookings Cubby's. We're 4-0 by the way, in case you care.) traveled to Green Isle, Minn., for a double header. I chose to drive a couple of other guys I play with, so I thought, "Maybe I should clean that sty."

So I spent a good 45 minutes the night before cleaning that bad boy out. It wasn't fun, but I got it done. Now I feel a sense of satisfaction in getting into a vehicle that is at least respectably clean. I'm sure it won't stay that way forever, but at least for now I can give someone a ride without throwing a bunch of stuff in the backseat...but like I said "for now."
