It's been four months now since my twin boys came into the world. It's been quite awhile since I posted too, (sorry about that) so I thought I'd give a little update on the boys.

Alex and Maguire just turned four months only about a week ago now, and they've changed so very much. They spent the first two weeks of their little lives in the hospital, but it seems like they've been with us forever. They're starting to smile and laugh now, so that's fun to see. They've definitely got their own little personalities, and one is grumpier than the other usually. I won't say who, since that's sort of mean I suppose. I don't want the one growing up saying, "Why did you have to tell everyone that I was grumpy Dad?!" He might think I'm playing favorites I guess.

Everyone always asks, "Is it hard taking care of twins? Are you just running all the time?" The answer is usually, "No." They're definitely more work than just one baby, that's pretty obvious. But my wife is the best mother ever, and takes such good care of them that they're usually satisfied and happy. There are the occassional blowups, but I always say my 3 year-old daughter is way harder to take care of than the boys. At least you can put them somewhere and they won't run away. They don't say, "Leave me alone Daddy!" either.
