Finally...Golf

Tools

By Chris Studer

So I went golfing over the weekend. It was actually my second time out this summer, but Saturday was the first time I went all 18 holes. I went along with our Sports guru Thor, our Chief Photographer (he loves it when I mention the "cheif" part) Jeff Cleland, and our Web Development guy Chuck Harmer (you can see him make an on-air appearance doing sports now and again too...).

It was a beautiful morning, and Thor lost, so it was a great time. Jeff and I tied, but Chuck took the field down by about 14 strokes. The guy can just mash the ball, and killed us all.

I just love getting out there, even though I don't play all that well. It's just amazing to be out on the course, seeing all the gorgeous sights of freshly cut fairways and greens. I'm amazed at some of the houses on golf courses these days too. They're just incredible. I don't know if I'd ever want to live on a course though. I think it'd be weird to get up in the morning and look out my window in my underwear and see a bunch of people standing basically in my backyard. It'd be a little awkward, for all parties involved, if I'm in my undies.

Anyway, congrats to Chuck for the big win, and to Thor for the embarrassing loss. Better luck next time buddy.

I've played with Harmer, he's all show and no go. He will crumble next time out, can't handle the pressure.
