Elliot Nathan is thrilled to be joining the KSFY News team as the weekend sports anchor.
Elliot grew up in south Minneapolis, and is a proud graduate of Minneapolis Southwest High School. Elliot attended the University of Oregon, where he majored in broadcast journalism before graduating in 2011. While at Oregon, Elliot was the sports director at the campus radio station, KWA 88.1 FM, and also served as the school’s mascot, the Oregon Duck.
Upon graduation, Elliot began his career in New York City, working as a content manager for Major League Baseball’s website, MLB.com. Although MLB was an outstanding start to his career, Elliot knew he always wanted to be a sports broadcaster. After a year in New York, he took the first broadcast job he could find, and moved to Havre, Montana to work as morning show news anchor, while doing high school and college play-by-play at night. In 2013, Elliot moved to Sioux Falls where he worked at a local television station as a sports reporter/anchor.
When not covering the outstanding sports scene in South Dakota, you can catch Elliot at the gym, running with his Black Lab, Jacki, cooking, or just at home following anyone of the four Minnesota professional sports teams. He is always interested in hearing from the viewers, so give him an email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or a follow on twitter @KSFYNathan.
