SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - All three lanes of traffic are open on 10th Street nearly two weeks after a building collapsed in downtown Sioux Falls.
The City of Sioux Falls says the lanes were reopened because demolition work and debris clearing at the site of the former Copper Lounge is complete.
The sidewalks around the site and Mall Avenue on the east side of the site also are now open.
“Thank you for your patience over the past two weeks as streets and lanes were closed downtown," city engineer Chad Huwe said. "It’s wonderful to get traffic, both for vehicles and pedestrians, back to normal."
The City said it would like to remind drivers that the speed limit on this stretch of street is 20 mph.
