Sioux Falls strip mall damaged in fire

(KSFY) Sioux Falls - No one was hurt when a fire broke out at a business in central Sioux Falls.

The fire started around 11:00 Wednesday night at a strip mall near the intersection of 12th Street and Garfield Avenue.

According to Sioux Falls Fire Rescue, firefighters were able to contain the flames within about 30 minutes. No one was inside the building at the time, and no firefighters were hurt.

The fire was contained to two units in the strip mall, though other neighboring businesses received smoke damage.

More than 30 firefighters responded to the scene.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
