SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KSFY) - The public had the opportunity to question the candidates for Sioux Falls mayor Thursday night.
All six of the men and the one woman seeking the city's top job participated in the forum -- Kenny Anderson Jr., Jim Entenman, Greg Jamison, Paul TenHaken, David Zokaites, Mike Gunn and Jolene Loetscher.
A Sioux Falls voter KSFY News spoke with said it is important to hear what each candidate stands for.
"If you live in Sioux Falls, or you're thinking about moving to Sioux Falls, who is elected mayor for the next four years really impacts a lot of your day-to-day life," Carmen Toft said. "It's where your tax dollars go, it's snow and storm cleanup, it's workforce development, they affect so much of your daily life, and it's really important to be engaged in your community."
Election day is April 10 in Sioux Falls.
KSFY and the Argus Leader will host a two-hour, live debate with six of the candidates on April 2 at 7 p.m. on the CW, ksfy.com and argusleader.com.
Mike Gunn has chosen not to participate in that debate.
