American flag carried across South Dakota in honor of new submarine

A group of bikers carried an American flag across the state of South Dakota this weekend for a unique cause.

They started in Sturgis and ended in Sioux Falls to commemorate the upcoming christening of the new USS South Dakota.

The flag will be featured as part of a ceremony to unveil a commemorative motorcycle honoring the submarine. That's at 10 Monday morning at J and L Harley Davison in Sioux Falls.

The flag will be placed in the bike's saddlebag and taken to Connecticut for the sub's christening ceremony next Saturday, October 14th.
