(KSFY) - State officials have identified the man killed in a two-vehicle crash in the southern Black Hills.
Fifty-four-year-old Randall Lauen of Rapid City died in Saturday's crash, according to the Department of Public Safety.
Troopers say Lauen was driving a Jeep Cherokee when it crossed the center line and collided head-on with a Kia Sportage.
The driver of the Kia received serious but non-life-threatening injuries, while the two passengers in the Kia received minor injuries.
According to the Department of Public Safety, both passengers were wearing seat belts. Seat belt use by the two drivers is still under investigation.
