Authorities still searching for missing South Dakota woman

WOONSOCKET, S.D. (AP) - The case of a woman who went missing in Mitchell has taken a toll on the community and law enforcement in the three years since her disappearance.

30-year-old Rachel Cyriacks was last seen Nov. 13, 2013, in Mitchell and was reported missing a few weeks later.

Authorities say searches in the area, surveillance footage and interviews haven't turned up any evidence in the case. The pickup truck she was last seen driving was found in early January 2014 with significant damage to its undercarriage, but it hasn't produced any tangible leads.

Sanborn County Sheriff Tom Fridley says officials suspect foul play and don't believe Cyriacks will be found alive. But Fridley says hope still remains that justice will be served.
