The Bold North Zip Line is just one of the many attractions in the Twin Cities for Super Bowl 52. The zip line sits on the north side of the Mississippi River in St. Paul, Minn. Tickets are sold out for the ride that sits 110 feet tall.
"There's two of us who run the zip line. We hired Zip Track to come out. They have done this all over. They were at the Super Bowl in Indianapolis. They've done the Olympics," Scott Beitz of Northern Events said.
The Bold North Zip Line set a Guinness World Record for longest zip line across the Mississippi River.
The Bold North Zip Line sold out quickly. More than 10,000 people will make their way down through Super Bowl Sunday.
KSFY Morning Anchor Kamie Roesler took a ride on the zip line with Aaron Weyh from Watertown.
"First we had to sign a waiver. Then we got a helmet fitted. Then they harnassed us up, and we went up," he said.
You climb to the top of a tower on one side. Someone hooks your harness. Then you take three steps, and off the platform you go across the river.
"It was a lot of steps going up. That made me nervous," Weyh said.
