SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KSFY) - It was a great day outside for some ice cream at Fridays on the Plaza!
Dakota Snow introduced a treat that is new to the area -- subzero ice cream.
They put liquid ice cream base and other ingredients on a freezing stainless steel surface, and after mixing it and spreading it a few times, they scrape the mixture into frozen rolls.
"It's really good, it's like fresh ice cream, never been frozen, it's just like homemade fresh ice cream," Dakota Snow owner Jessica Rooney said.

Dakota Snow will also be selling its rolled ice cream at the Sioux Empire Fair this year.
