SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KSFY) - Two health care companies in Sioux Falls are entering discussions to explore opportunities to better serve communities by working together.
The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society and Sanford Health made the announcement Monday.
“The health care landscape across the nation continues to evolve, so it’s only natural for industry leaders to talk about potential opportunities and partnerships,” Kelby Krabbenhoft, president and CEO of Sanford Health, said in a press release. “The prospect of bringing together our organizations represents a historic opportunity to create something significant with exceptional improvements in health care that spans the entire spectrum of life.”
“Both organizations have a history of working together to create integrated health care delivery and providing specific services to seniors,” David Horazdovsky, president and CEO of The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society, said in a press release. “This exploration is a natural progression in how two industry leaders will address the significant challenges in meeting the needs of those we serve. Sanford and The Society have complementary services creating the ability to generate synergies and build on each other’s reputation with greater geographic reach and compelling pursuits.”
