JazzFest starts Thursday at Yankton Trail Park in Sioux Falls

The annual Sioux Falls Jazz and Blues Festival, JazzFest, has become a summer favorite for Sioux Falls and the region. It's a three-day outdoor musical event, featuring two stages of music and is FREE to the public.

In addition to the music, there is also food and art vendors, beer and wine gardens, arts and crafts, fireworks and more. JazzFest is located at Yankton Trail Park in Sioux Falls. This is the 26th year of JazzFest and Fargo, N.D. native, Jonny Lang is this year's headliner.

The festival had record attendance in 2012 & 2013, both years recording over 125,000 attendees over the course of the three-day event. This year organizers say they have a goal of surpassing 100,000 guests.

Parking at JazzFest:

You may park inside of Yankton Trail Park. Please note, there is a $10 daily parking fee to park inside Yankton Trail Park.

There is a bike/walking trail that connects Yankton Trail Park to several other parks in Sioux Falls. It is suggested that you park your car at another park along the trail and then take the path into the JazzFest site.

You may bike on the trail to the park. When you arrive, give your bike a rest. There will be a bike valet, provided by Spoke-n-Sport, located just off of the bike trail south of the main stage area.

Additionally, shuttles are available. They are $4 per person (roundtrip). Shuttle locations include Lincoln and Roosevelt High Schools.

Shuttle service times:
Thursday: 5pm-11pm (Lincoln High School only)
Friday: 5pm- 12:30am (Lincoln High School only)
Saturday: 11am-12:30am (Lincoln and Roosevelt)

Attention Taxi Drivers:
If you are going to enter the park to pick up or drop off passengers, you will be required to pay $10 each time you enter the park.
