Local businesses offer several Veterans Day events and deals

(KSFY) - A number of businesses and organizations are providing activities or specials to honor those who have served in the armed forces for Veterans Day.

Here is a list of things you can find around the area on Saturday. If you see anything you’d like added, submit it here.

Friday

Flandreau: High School Veterans Day Program at Flandreau High School, 9:00 a.m.

Adrian, Minn.: Veterans Ceremony at school

Pierre: Veterans Day Program at T.F. Riggs High School, 10:30 a.m.

Saturday:

Sioux Falls

Breakfast at VFW post #628 at 8:00 a.m.

Community Veterans Day Program at Washington High School, 10:30 a.m.

Free meal at Khorasan Kabob House (301 S. Garfield Avenue), 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Remembrance Service at VA Lobby, 1:30 p.m.

Aberdeen

American Heroes Outdoors 1st Annual Veterans Day Banquet, Aberdeen Elks Lodge 1046, 5:00 p.m.

Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill: Free meal from a special menu Saturday at any of the nearly 1,800 locations.

Buffalo Wild Wings: Free small order of traditional or boneless wings with a side of fries.

Chili's: Free meal from a special menu.
Cracker Barrel: Free slice of Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake.
Famous Dave's: Free two meat combo.

Hy-Vee: Free breakfast 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. at participating supermarkets with in-store dining.

Olive Garden: Free meal from a select menu.

Outback Steakhouse: Free Bloomin' Onion and non-alcoholic beverage.

Perkins: Free Magnificent Seven meal.

Red Lobster: Free appetizer or dessert.

Red Robin: Free Red's Tavern Double Burger with bottomless fries.

Ruby Tuesday: Free appetizer up to $10.

Starbucks: Free tall coffee for any veteran, active duty military and military spouse Saturday. Unrelated to the Veterans Day deal, Starbucks has a buy one holiday drink, get one free deal 2 to 5 p.m.Thursday through Monday.

Texas Roadhouse: Free meal from a special menu and choice of non-alcoholic drink.
