Sioux Falls, SD (KSFY) Thousands of brides across the country are now in a major bind over the abrupt closing of Alfred Angelo.
The popular bridal retailer suddenly shut down last week, leaving many people wondering if there’s any way to get their wedding dresses.
Though there isn’t a full store in Sioux Falls, several local bridal boutiques have carried the brand for decades.
They say there are a few local brides and bridesmaids who are also affected by the sudden closure.
“We didn't even know they were closing period, I literally found out when the rest of the world did, and so did every other store. We know a couple of brides, where their dresses are literally sitting in the store at Alfred Angelo and they will not let them get them,” Shauna Niedan with Elegant Xpressions said.
Elegant Expressions says they are working with other retailers in the Midwest to trade inventory, and hopefully fill orders for their customers.
Many other bridal companies around the country are also stepping in to try and help the thousands of brides impacted by the closure.
