SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KSFY) - A Sioux Falls Catholic school is hosting a "Party on the Playground" Friday evening to celebrate the installation of new turf.
After years of muddy fields and playgrounds, St. Michael School at 26th Street and Marion Road now has artificial volleyball, mini-football and soccer turf.
The party will be held at 6:30 p.m. on the playground. It will feature a ribbon cutting, blessing of the fields, drive-in movie and food.
The event will be moved indoors to the multi-purpose room following the ribbon cutting if it is raining.
