Local shoe store donates percentage of sales to veterans

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The owner of Fit My Feet is donating 5% of his sales on Friday and Satruday to the non-profit, Disabled American Veterans of South Dakota. The owner, Nick Kolterman, is having a grand opening for his new store on Minnesota Avenue Friday. He wanted to give back to veterans because they do so much for the United States and he has a few relatives that are veterans.

Fit My Feet is a specialty shoe store that helps people find the right pair of shoes. It's especially helpful for people because trained employees at the store will measure feet and get to know people's foot problems before suggesting a specific type of shoe. The store is open from 9:00 AM until 6:30 PM Friday. Customers can shop at the location on Minnesota Avenue as well as the location on the east side of Sioux Falls to give back to the DAV of South Dakota.
