UPDATE: Man accused in Sioux Falls double homicide extradited from Nebraska

DAKOTA COUNTY, Neb. (KSFY) - The man accused in a double murder back on Jan. 5 was extradited to Sioux Falls from Nebraska.

Minnehaha County Sheriff Mike Milstead confirmed he is in custody at the Minnehaha County Jail.

37-year-old Manuel Frias appeared in a Dakota County courthouse on Tuesday and signed an extradition waiver to return to Sioux Falls.

Frias was arrested by the U.S. Marshal Service and other local law enforcement in South Sioux City, Neb. on Jan. 16. He is accused of murdering Samuel Crockett and Corey Zephier in what Sioux Falls Police called a, "drug rip gone bad."

He is expected to make his first appearance in Minnehaha County Court on Thursday.
