MITCHELL, S.D. (KSFY) - Update: Police have arrested a suspect they say robbed several individuals at gunpoint in Mitchell.
Nineteen-year-old Christopher Kindle was arrested on Wednesday, according to the Mitchell Police Department.
Police say Kindle threatened four individuals with a .45 caliber handgun during two robberies.
No businesses were targeted, only individuals. However, one of the robberies did take place inside a laundromat.
Kindle was arrested for three counts of first degree robbery, one count of attempted first degree robbery, four counts of aggravated assault, and a number of other charges.
Authorities are looking for a man they say robbed a victim at gunpoint at a Mitchell laundromat.
The robbery happened around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Plaza Cleaners. Police say the suspect threatened the victim with a black handgun then left the laundromat.
Police say the suspect attempted to rob another victim behind Coborn's Grocery store, then fled.
The suspect is described as a man with a light complection, about 5'10" tall with a thin build. He was wearing a bluish-gray hooded sweatshirt, a white ballcap, dark tan pants, and tan Nike shoes.
