New tower improves Mike Durfee State Prison's water pressure

SPRINGFIELD, S.D. (KSFY) - A new water tower in Springfield aims to get water flowing a bit better at the Mike Durfee State Prison.

The prison will still get water from the city, but the new 200,000 gallon tower and booster station will improve water pressure and provide about two days of storage.

The tower is scheduled to be fully operational by next Friday.
