Authorities say no one was injured after a fire broke out at an apartment in northeast Sioux Falls.
The fire started just after 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at an apartment on the 900 block of North Cleveland Avenue. According to a press release from Sioux Falls Fire Rescue, authorities initially received reports that people were running out of the building yelling "Fire!"
When crews arrived, smoke and flames could be seen from a second floor window of the three story complex.
Firefighters had the flames under control within 15 minutes. The fire was confined to the kitchen area of the unit where the fire started.
Everyone made it out safely.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
