No one hurt in Sioux Falls car dealership fire

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KSFY) - Authorities say nobody was hurt after a late-night fire broke out at a car dealership in eastern Sioux Falls.

Firefighters responded to a report of a fire at Car Swap on East 10th Street around 11:30 p.m. Monday night.

Crews found smoke and flames coming from an exterior sign attached to the building. Firefighters also found flames in the ceiling inside the building.

Battalion Chief Jim Powers said firefighters were able to contain the blaze in about 15 minutes.

No one was in the building during the fire, and no firefighters were hurt during the incident.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by Sioux Falls Fire Prevention.
