'Pancake Days' raising money for hearing, vision impaired

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KSFY) - There are just a few hours left to get some pancakes from the Downtown Lions Club.

Pancake Days started Tuesday night, and members of the Lions Club will be serving flapjacks until 8 p.m. Wednesday.

It costs $7 to get into the Sioux Falls Convention Center for the event.

That money goes towards helping the hearing and vision impaired in the area.

The club also gives back to McCrossan Boys Ranch and the Serve and Learn Student Association.

"I've been coming to Pancake Days since I was a little guy, and now the last several years have got the chance to help in little ways," Paul Krueger, Pancake Days Chair, said. "So it's an event that a lot of people in Sioux Falls and across the region look forward to."

The Lions Club expects about 10,000 people to attend their event.
