Pet of the Week: Bitsy

Hi, my name is Bitsy! I was rescued from the cold around Thanksgiving by my foster mom. I was pretty scared yet, when I came to the shelter, so my foster mom took me home with her to help me adjust better. I like playing with the younger cats I live with, but I also play well on my own. I tolerate the dog I live with, but I don't really like her much.

I love batting around ping pong balls and I am very active! I am pretty small and petite yet. I LOVE attention and like to sit on my foster mom's lap when she is at the computer desk. I should do fine with a home that has older kids, but my new family will need to be patient with me as I adjust to a new home. I can be quite timid, so it might take me a few weeks to warm up to the new situation.

I have been litterbox trained and have not had any accidents yet! I am not yet spayed, but I am up to date on shots and tested negative for feline leukemia. I will receive a microchip before I am adopted out. If you would like to spend time with me and adopt, please call the Humane Society!
