SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KSFY) - A suspect is facing several charges after police say he barricaded himself inside a Sioux Falls residence for several hours Sunday evening.
Police received a report of a man breaking windows in a residence near N. Cleveland Avenue and East 6th Street just after 6:00 p.m.
Investigators say several adults and children had fled the residence following a domestic dispute. A lone man remained in the home, and had barricaded himself inside.
The suspect eventually surrendered peacefully around 8:00 p.m.
According to police, 37-year-old Emmanuel Mila faces charges for aggravated assault, simple assault, violating a no contact order, and felony intentional damage to property.
