SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KSFY) - Sioux Falls Police say a man suspected of robbing several casinos at gunpoint this month has officially been charged in all three incidents.
Public Information Officer Sam Clemens said a warrant was issued Monday for 27-year-old Angel Provincial for two counts of first degree robbery. The warrant carried a $75,000 cash-only bond.
Those counts are for the robberies of Deuces Casino on N. West Avenue on Sept. 2 and Rice Street Casino on E. Rice Street on Sept. 3, Clemens said, where he allegedly stole cash at gunpoint.
Provincial was originally arrested on a warrant on Sept. 8 for one count of first degree robbery and aggravated assault. The warrant carried a $50,000 cash-only bond.
Police said Provincial allegedly fired a gun at the ceiling inside the Crown Casino at 26th Street and Minnesota Avenue on Sept. 6 before leaving with cash.
Provincial appeared in court on Monday for the Crown Casino robbery charges, but Clemens said it was unknown when he would make his next appearance on the additional charges.
