Police investigate 3 car fires in Sioux Falls

SIOUX FALLS (KSFY) - Authorities in Sioux Falls are looking into a series of overnight car fires in Sioux Falls.

According to Public Information Officer Sam Clemens, the fires were set in three different parts of town Friday between 1:30 a.m. and 2:20 a.m.

The first was on the 1000 block of South Liberty Place, near 12th Street and Marion Road. The next was set set on the 3100 block of North Cyprus Place in northern Sioux Falls. The last was set on the 100 block of East 7th Street in downtown.

Clemens says it is still to early to tell if the fires are connected, but they are suspicious nonetheless.
