SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KSFY) - As of this week, all software for the Bakery in Sioux Falls is shutting down.
More than 20,000 people utilized the Bakery since it started in 2015. The business was started by Clinton Brown, and its focus was to help young self-employed people grow and improve in the business world.
More than 500 businesses and professionals were served through memberships.
The Bakery helped 44 businesses to launch. Some of those have gone on to generate more than $1 million in annual revenue.
The whole focus was to help small businesses grow in the Sioux Falls area, and since the Bakery did just that, Brown is not completely straying away from this venture.
He is moving forward with his passion to help others with "The Oven." These are 5-week sessions with a smaller number of people. It's basically a small business boot-camp, but Brown says it is only for very serious professionals.
