Late Monday night the Sioux Falls Public School District made the decision to not have classes on Tuesday, March 6th.

In an email, school district spokesperson DeeAnn Konrad said;

"Good Evening Sioux Falls School District Families. Due to the blizzard warning in our area tomorrow, Tuesday, March 6, 2018, there will be no school in the Sioux Falls School District. School is closed tomorrow and there will be no activities. This means the Kids Inc. program will also not be available. Please keep your children safe and warm."

The winter storm that has been moving across the KSFY viewing area led to early dismissals all across the region on Monday and prompted the partial closure of Interstate 90 from Sioux Falls to Murdo and the complete closure of Interstate 29.
