PIERRE, S.D. (KSFY) - The front doors of the Capitol will be illuminated in blue Monday night for a special reason.

The blue light will be in recognition of the sacrifices made by South Dakota Law Enforcement officers and their families.

Governor Dennis Daugaard said South Dakotans should be deliberate about expressing support and appreciation to those that put themselves in harms way to protect their communities.
