Take a look at wildlife in a different perspective through new exhibit in Downtown Sioux Falls

DOWNTOWN SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - An exhibit called 'Just Scratching the Surface' opens at the Eastbank Art Gallery on Tuesday. A member from the Eastbank Art Gallery, Denice Fox, will be the featured member for this particular exhibit. A reception for it will be held on Friday from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Fox just joined the Eastbank Art Gallery within the past six months and this is the first show she will be featured in. She usually paints wildlife or country scenes.

The Eastbank Art Gallery is located at the 8th & Railroad Center in Downtown Sioux Falls along the boardwalk. It's open Tuesday through Friday from 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM and Saturdays from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM.

The theme for this current exhibit is all about pheasant and upland game birds as well as more of a wildlife hunting theme. The exhibit will be available to look at through February 24th. The reason the members of the gallery chose this theme is because of the Pheasant & Quail Classic in Sioux Falls February 16th through the 18th. Many of the artists had to step outside of their comfort zone to create pieces of art for the exhibit that included quails or pheasants.
