TransCanada still working to determine what caused Keystone Pipeline leak in Marshall County

AMHERST, S.D. - TransCanada has not discovered what caused the Keystone Pipeline to leak in Marshall County.
Officials released a statement Saturday explaining crews are continuing to make progress on the investigation. TransCanada is also dispatching more equipment and personnel to the site for clean-up and remediation work.
According to the statement, on-site experts believe the incident is under control and there is no threat to public safety or significant environmental impact.
