SIOUX FALLS, SD (KSFY) - Water is one of those things that you think will always be there.
But as South Dakota grows, so do concerns about where the water will come from to support all the growth.
The state of South Dakota is embarking on a six-month mission that will focus mostly on eastern South Dakota.
Two crews will crisscross from one county to the next with a drilling machine searching.... for water.
Where will the water of the future come from?
Will there be enough?
There is a lot riding on the results of these findings.
