Wisconsin woman sentenced to life in prison after body found in South Dakota

(KSFY) A woman who confessed to torturing and killing a pregnant woman and dumping her body in South Dakota has been sentenced to life in prison in Wisconsin.

Tiffany Simmons pleaded guilty in March in the death of 25-year-old Tess White. White was 10 weeks pregnant at the time of her death.

Court records show Simmons confessed to torturing and killing White in a parking lot in West Allis, Wisconsin. Farmers in Grant county South Dakota found her body, which had been burned.

Shanta Pearson has also pleaded guilty to multiple counts in connection to white's death, including kidnapping. He will be sentenced July 20th.
