Woman who crashed into car care center arrested on DUI

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KSFY) - Police say a Sioux Falls woman who crashed into a car care center and caused around $100,00 worth of damage has been arrested on DUI and other charges.

According to Capt. Loren McManus, 26-year-old Ashley Marie Brower was arrested for DUI, reckless driving, driving without a license and failure to maintain financial responsibility.

Authorities believe the woman was under the influence of drugs, not alcohol, when the accident happened, according to McManus.

Police said Brower crashed into the Billion Car Care Center on West 12th Street Wednesday around 11 a.m. Two children under the age of three were in the vehicle during the crash.

They were treated at a hospital and released to a family member.
