4 (1-inch thick) bone-in pork chops
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
5 potatoes, peeled and sliced
1 onion, thinly sliced
2 cups barbecue sauce
Directions1.Sprinkle pork chops evenly with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
2.In a large skillet over high heat, heat oil until hot; saute pork chops 4 to 5 minutes, or until browned on both sides.
3.In a large slow cooker, layer potatoes and onions. Pour 1 cup barbecue sauce over onions. Place pork chops on top, then pour remaining barbecue sauce over pork chops.
4.Cover and cook on HIGH 3-1/2 to 4 hours, or until pork chops are no longer pink in center.
