1 (11-ounce) package vanilla wafers, broken into pieces, divided
3 (4-serving size) packages instant banana pudding mix
5 cups milk
1 (12-ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed, divided
1 cup (1/2 pint) sour cream
3 bananas, sliced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Directions1.Reserve 1/2 cup vanilla wafer pieces; place remaining wafer pieces in a 9- x 13-inch baking dish.
2.In large bowl, combine pudding mix and milk; whisk 1 to 2 minutes, or until smooth and thickened. Add half the whipped topping (about 2-1/2 cups) and sour cream; mix well. Refrigerate until ready to use.
3.In a medium bowl, combine bananas and lemon juice; toss until evenly coated, then drain.
4.Spread half the pudding mixture evenly over wafers. Arrange banana slices over pudding mixture. Evenly spread with remaining pudding mixture.
5.Top with reserved 1/2 cup wafers over pudding. Dollop with remaining whipped topping.
